Orthodontic Therapist
After 25 years of Orthodontic Nursing at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Sheffield and Rotherham Hospital I trained to become an Orthodontic Therapist. After qualifying at Leeds Dental Institute in 2018, I work between hospital and practice as well as being a Tutor on the Yorkshire Orthodontic Therapy Course.
I treat patients as I would like to be treated, or how I’d want my children to be treated, with care and empathy. I’m confident patients who come to see me with a little anxiety or difficulty having dental treatment leave feeling relaxed and happy after building up the trust between clinician and patient, this is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
Orthodontic Therapist
I began my career as a dental nurse qualifying at Leeds dental institute in 2007.I completed my dental radiography in 2012.
After working in general practice for several years, I decided to take more of an interest in orthodontics?
In Dec 2014 I qualified as an orthodontic dental nurse. In 2018, I qualified as an orthodontic Therapist, I love my job and feel very lucky to be in this position.
Out of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
